Why Games?
In CORE Performance Coaching we use CORE Games, a structured process for executing on your strategic plan, implementing key initiatives or fulfilling those dreams of success that historically seem to slip through your fingers. It is a simple, fun and focused way to achieve new levels of success for yourself or with your team.
Playing a CORE Performance Game includes the following:
- Coaching for Increased Performance and Fulfillment - in
- “Game Worth Playing” Creation
- Focused Goals and Metrics
- Scoreboard for Tracking and Tuning Your Game
- E-mail Support & Follow Up
- Celebrating Wins and Learning from Losses
CORE Performance Games are often played in 3 Month Intervals – typically coordinated with the business quarter. (Most teams play consecutive Games throughout the year for increased results and momentum, but it is not required.)
Every Game begins by creating a Game Worth Playing, what some business teams refer to as their Super Bowl win. This vision of success becomes the beacon you and your team use to PULL and motivate you to go beyond fears and limiting behaviors to new levels of performance and teamwork.
Game Goals, specific milestones for success, are a key part of playing Games. They are typically organized in 3 month increments and focused on BOTH bottom line results and soft goals like trust, effective communication and personal satisfaction at work. All goals are measured and tracked with your own uniquely designed Scoreboard your team uses throughout the Game Series to tune strategy, stay focused and increase accountability for results.
Coaching for success comes in the form of Time Outs with your CORE coach and team huddles brilliantly designed for engaging the emotional commitment and enthusiasm needed to breakthrough to greater success. Halftimes and Game completion celebrations reinforce the value of learning, claiming your wins, building trust and staying the course for what you want.
